With the help of Daddy's "ladder" (it was imaginary:)) Kennedy picked the perfect Honey Golden's from the tippy top of the trees!
She was very proud of her picks and insisted on carrying the bucket back to the barn.
After we got home from the orchard, it was time to get ready for the Rebal Halloween Party. Kennedy has hand selected each piece for her costume this year, which has been much fun:) A pink princess dress, a princess tiara and green Tinkerbell shoes! Oh, and a pink necklace and gold bracelet...
The problem: the orchard wore her out and with no nap, she fell asleep in the car for the short 15 min ride from our house to the Rebal's...
Not to worry, she sprang into action once she saw the bouncy obstacle course and all of her friends:)
Hard to believe she made it down the slide WITH the ice cream cone still being eaten:)
Second helping of fresh made ice cream - this time in a bowl and without the princess dress:)
