pumpkin patch. fun times.

This one is PERFECT!
Stuck in the hay bale maze. that was fun.

Do I see a trend in this evil looking scowl? Or is the sun shining very brightly in her sweet little eyes?

I am pretty sure she is having a conversation with this moo cow. Don't you think?
And she is NOT afraid of the cows. She reached right out and grabbed this one.

She so badly wanted that pony to come talk to her. It was busy eating the pumpkin. Hmm.

the making of a witch.

To fully be a witch, one must glue things to the hat. right?and then eat a bit of glue.

finishing, with more glueing to the hat.
This was a "test" run of the witch costume, which is mighty cute, I must admit. She only wore the dress, and only kept it on for like 10 min. Hopefully on the night of Halloween, she will be too busy getting candy to care if the costume is on.....

Fall is Here!????? or is it gone?????

Fall came and seemed to go so quickly. I have a few pics of Kennedy jumping in the smallest pile of leaves in our yard. We only have a little tree, so this is all the pile we get. For now.

Sammy has arrived. and she is CUTE!

This is Grandpa Ron's new puppy. Kennedy got to choose her name, first she called her "red" and then "balloon" and then finally settled on Sam. With no persuasion from me (hahaha), but it suits her perfectly. She is sooo adorable - almost 7 weeks old now....
Sammy fell asleep on one of our pillows and proceeded to fall off the deeper into her sleep she got.
We went to the homecoming parade last Friday - it was sooo chilly:) But Kennedy really enjoyed seeing the bands and the HUGE Roberts Dairy cow.

Here is Kennedy tailgating - eating her dip. She does this very well - avoiding the carrot every time! She just loves dip!

And I couldn't pass this cute pic of how grown up she is getting. With her little jeans and sweater - what a peanut!!!!

So. I like "chockie" (chocolate). Don't you?

What are you looking at? It's not like I have pudding all over my face and body!

Uncle Roger brought us some delicious chocolates from Betty Jane's Candy in Dubuque. Kennedy LOVED them. She usually tries to share everything with Maggie, but not this chockie. She kept swinging it away from Maggie, saying, "No, Maggie, Kennedy's chockie!"

My first Hawkeeeee game!

We took Kennedy to the first game of the season last Saturday (sorry for the delay in posting; my bad...). She LOVED it.

From stealing the candy corn out of the mix.....

to chillin with friends....

it was a blast. Kennedy did very well at the game too! There was an open seat next to us with seat back and cushion. Kennedy fell asleep in my arms, and after like 3 whole minutes of my back KILLING me trying to hold her, I layed her down on that seat cushion. And she slept like a baby. For the entire first half. She was out cold - I guess tailgating at 7am can do that to a peanut! We only went down to the concessions twice to potty and run for a bit, even though it has now become a game to go potty EVERY waking second in public pottys. But I can't ignore it, what if she really has to go - I can't let her pee her pants. But we made it the entire game, which means we may try some more.

Can I be in your band? I'll be the drummer.

Thank you to Acuity for the drum sticks. Kennedy was fascinated with these things the ENTIRE ride home; she drummed on the back of my seat, her knees, the ceiling in the car and then Maggie once we got home. I quickly made some bucket drums to save Maggie and here we have a star in the making. We are now looking for bands that need drummers. Thanks.
