Bday party PROS!

We had 2 birthday parties today and they were SOOOOO much fun. We even forfeited our nap, which we have NEVER done, but, it was well worth it! Kennedy had a great time:)

First, at our little cousin, Austen's first birthday, we played with lots of kids and Sammy was there. Then we ate a delish ice cream cake. mmmmmmm...... and we are now very good at winking. As you can see!

Then we moved on to Miss Della's 2nd birthday party. We apologize for being a teensy bit crabby, but again, no nap. We still had a great time and thank you to Karlie for letting us hold your new baby furreal kitty. (Side note - if you don't know what a furreal kitty is, please look at them the next trip to Walmart. They are amazing. Kind of creepy scary, but Kennedy thinks they are real and she LOVES them!)

And - we ALL need a little carousel in our backyard! We could barely drag Kennedy away from this amazing thing! Della and Kennedy were having a good time dancing in the middle:)

Halloweeeeeennnnnnn!!!!!! Spooooooooky!!!!!!!!!

First things first. We waited until Halloween day to carve the pumpkins. Why? IDK, probably because I wasn't going to do it at all, but then realized that I had an entire Saturday, why not do it. K loved it, at first, then she got bored and needed to wash her hands. This turned in to playing with the water at the sink while Rach and I carved the pumpkins. These are the end result! It was fun, but harder than I thought! We went to our friend Addie's house to trick or treat! It was pretty cool! We only made it up and down one street before K was done, but she got just enough candy, I think. Here are the kiddos in their costumes. Kennedy didn't want her pic taken, so Jon had to hold her

Annual Rebal Halloween party. WOO HOO

Last Saturday was the annual Rebal Halloween party and it was a BLAST! There were a gabillion kids there and a mammoth Dora bouncy house/slide all in one... Kennedy kept her costume on for about an hour. Then it was down to the tights and sweater. And she did have 3 ice cream cones from the awesome soft serve machine that PaDean has!!! Great party Deb and Dean:) Can't wait for more!!!And I couldn't pass on this one! Kennedy is drinking her little can of root beer w/ her new had and mittens. She loves her new hat and mitts:)And our very first fort in the living room. SHE LOVED IT!

pumpkin patch. fun times.

This one is PERFECT!
Stuck in the hay bale maze. that was fun.

Do I see a trend in this evil looking scowl? Or is the sun shining very brightly in her sweet little eyes?

I am pretty sure she is having a conversation with this moo cow. Don't you think?
And she is NOT afraid of the cows. She reached right out and grabbed this one.

She so badly wanted that pony to come talk to her. It was busy eating the pumpkin. Hmm.

the making of a witch.

To fully be a witch, one must glue things to the hat. right?and then eat a bit of glue.

finishing, with more glueing to the hat.
This was a "test" run of the witch costume, which is mighty cute, I must admit. She only wore the dress, and only kept it on for like 10 min. Hopefully on the night of Halloween, she will be too busy getting candy to care if the costume is on.....

Fall is Here!????? or is it gone?????

Fall came and seemed to go so quickly. I have a few pics of Kennedy jumping in the smallest pile of leaves in our yard. We only have a little tree, so this is all the pile we get. For now.

Sammy has arrived. and she is CUTE!

This is Grandpa Ron's new puppy. Kennedy got to choose her name, first she called her "red" and then "balloon" and then finally settled on Sam. With no persuasion from me (hahaha), but it suits her perfectly. She is sooo adorable - almost 7 weeks old now....
Sammy fell asleep on one of our pillows and proceeded to fall off the deeper into her sleep she got.
We went to the homecoming parade last Friday - it was sooo chilly:) But Kennedy really enjoyed seeing the bands and the HUGE Roberts Dairy cow.

Here is Kennedy tailgating - eating her dip. She does this very well - avoiding the carrot every time! She just loves dip!

And I couldn't pass this cute pic of how grown up she is getting. With her little jeans and sweater - what a peanut!!!!
