Let's Go HAWKS!!!

Saturday was the second home football game of the season. We did go to the first one too, but my camera was not cooperating, so I didn't get any good pix. Plus, it was actually kind of cold that day. The Iowa/Iowa State tailgate was awesome! Kennedy had an amazing time - she was so excited to play with her old friend Savannah, she talked about her all morning. We can't wait until the next home game - Kennedy gets to go to the game too! Oh, the joys:)

Tonight was our last night at gymnastics and we were allowed to bring cameras in! Kennedy was talking about Miss Brittany (her instructor) all day, how she was going to Miss Brittany's house and how Miss Brittany was going to give her a big hug and a big princess kiss. She even colored Miss Brittany a picture; we forgot it in the car, so I assured her I would mail it to "Miss Brittany's house" - that is what she calls the Gym-Nest. We really are on VACATION!

Kennedy have had this week off and have had so much fun! The weather was EXCELLENT and allowed us to do sooo much!
We went to the Johnson County 4H Fair and it was nothing like I remember it being when I was little! Kennedy enjoyed the animals, but I was not impressed! Oh well... Here she is riding a motorcycle, playing in the bouncy house and petting some very beautiful horsies!!!

We went to the beach 2 days, the second day, we had our neighbors, Owen and Jacob and Bennett and Griffin come along! It was sooo much fun! Kennedy was a mermaid:) and she thought that was pretty cool!

This was our first day at the beach, just K and I, she is quite the little water bug - not afraid at all!
We went to the pool with Garrett and had a lot of fun there! We also went to the NL pool w/ Della and Asher, but of course, there are no photos :( bummer!

Dora Fiesta!!!

Kennedy had her Dora FiestaParty this weekend and lets just say it was a blast! We had sooo much fun - thank you to everyone that made it:)
We had her 3 year old check up today, and besides having a virus that she caught sometime yesterday (?) she is "really fine!" (that's what she told nurse Mary). Here are her 3 year old stats:
Height: 36" / 24th percentile
Weight: 25 1/2 lb / 3rd percentile - so lots of extra cheese/butter/ranch dressing - all of her favorites:)

Now. On to the party pictures. This is the RachaelCake! It was amazing to look at and even more amazing to EAT! OMG - it was soooo delish! I am sure she is taking orders too!!!

These are the cupcakes that pale in comparison to the Dora cake, but Kennedy was so excited to put the sprinkles on and the Dora/Boots decorations on them!
