So. Funny story. We were peacefully and happily playing out in the backyard - meeting our new neighbor - 2 week old Jacob (and such a little cutie), when I look back into the middle of the yard, only to see Kennedy sitting in the grass w/ her foot in the air. By the way, she was yelling, "YUCK!" Yep. You guessed it. Stepped in dog poop. I actually can't believe this is the first time it happened, but gross none the less...so we RUSHED in to the bathtub. After quite a bit of hefty scrubbing, we came out smelling fresh and clean. After the bath we had to play w/ our vanity and "brush tee, I brush tee!" which is what we have to do every time we go in the bathroom. FUN!
This is the COOLEST vanity ever - if you can find one, I say GET IT! K loves it, as you can see:) It has this little fake shower head w/ a cord attached to the base unit. She seriously thinks it is a phone. She constantly picks up the shower head and tries her hardest to reach it to her ear and says, "Hallo." and then "Bye."
Doesn't this look just say- 'Excuse me, Mom. Did you need something? I am actually on the phone!'
Oh my! That bottom picture is hilarious! You definately got the quote right on that one.
ReplyDeleteBTW- I was telling Ryan about her stepping in poop and he just laughed. Then, i think he realized that it could very easily happen to Hailey, so he went and got the shovel and started cleaning the yard. Neither one of us handle poop that well.
ReplyDeleteI am laughing at my desk right now. That is too funny b/c I totally forgot about cleaning up the poop until last night, after we had been playing in the yard for like 20 minutes. Then I remembered the pooper scooper and bucket!
